Uruguay (South America)

This project evolves in Uruguay.
The Oriental Republic of Uruguay is a little Southamerican country, located between Brasil and Argentina, with a population of 3.000.000.
It has shore to the River Plate (río de la Plata), the Uruguay River and the Atlantic Ocean, approximately on latitude 35° South, longitude 56° West.
Its capital is Montevideo, with aprox. 1.500.000 inhabitants.
Its main sailing ports are La Paloma, Punta del Este, Piriapolis, Buceo (Montevideo), Puerto Sauce, Colonia, Nueva Palmira, Paysandú.
The most amicable sailing port of Uruguay for foreign vessels is currently Piriapolis, 40 nautical miles East from Montevideo and 18 West from Punta del Este. It has enough depth for any sailing boat, is very easy to reach from the ocean and has services and travelift for vessels up to almost 7 meters of beam.
